Raf Manji

Raf Manji has a background in governance, risk, policy, and strategy, and is currently a non-resident Fellow at the Asia New Zealand Foundation. He led The Opportunities Party in the 2023 General Election and previously served two terms as a Christchurch City Councillor, focusing on earthquake recovery. Raf has worked in investment banking, environmental impact assessment, and social enterprise. He advised on the Christchurch terror attack fund distribution and has held multiple governance roles. Raf holds degrees in Economics, Political Science, and International Law and Politics from the University of Manchester and the University of Canterbury.
