Dr Andrew T.H. Tan

Andrew T.H. Tan is a non-resident principal research fellow at the Institute for Indo-Pacific Affairs and Professor at the Centre for Future Defence and National Security, Faculty of Law and Education, Deakin University, Australia. He was a Professor of Security Studies at Macquarie University, Australia, and prior to that was at the University of New South Wales and at Kings College London, United Kingdom. He was also a member of the Institute for Defence and Strategic Studies in Singapore (later Rajaratnam School of International Studies) and the Singapore Foreign Service. Andrew has published extensively in the areas of defence, regional and global security, terrorism and insurgency.
